Merry Christmas!

There’s wild rice cooking on the stove and Minnesota Public Radio streaming Christmas music on the computer.  We’re feeling pretty festive indeed except that the temps today are similar to those inside our sauna back home!

We made this video greeting for Fargo friends attending the annual Sing-a-Long party last weekend.  We’ll share it with all of you too.

Peace to you and our whole world this season and in the year to come.  Love, Scott, Amy, Simon, Elsa Ruth

  1. And a very merry Christmas to you so far away. We are in sunny warm CA today, heading to ID and snow tomorrow morning with Luke and family. Leah and the boys will join us there so it will be a week filled with sledding, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and fires in the fireplace. I still love a white Christmas.

Your blogs are a delight to read! It seems that each of you is making the most of a unique opportunity and enjoying experiencing a different culture in so many different ways. You will have so many memories of this very special time, and I know everyone you meet will have wonderful memories of meeting you.

Warm greetings and big hugs to you all.

  2. Merry Christmas to you tanned and cheerful-looking South Africans! Joan and I are heading over to Northfield Retirement Community to enjoy their Christmas Eve service (Mom is directing the choir). Then it’s off to the dining room for lutefisk and Swedish meatballs and lefse!

We’ll miss all of you tomorrow. We had to lower our lefse expectations and have Mrs. Olson sit in for Amy.

Thanks for the wonderful card – I think the red stockings are quite snazzy!

Love and Ho Ho Ho from Uncle Mark and Aunt Joan.
